 Welcome, Thank You and More

Firstly, warm welcome to all of you blogstream members who visited my blog, intentionally (somewhat intrigued by springmoon) or accidentally (wandered in because of slipped finger, then decided to take a look).

And, I sincerely thank you to those who took the time to leave comments (I know it’s a pain in the butt).

There was a question as to how you can download the flash images. As you can see, I love to create flash images, then combine them with poems and music. If you are interested in learning on these subjects, there are a lot of sites offering free tutorial. Here’s two I know of.

http://www.w3schools.com --- for HTML

(By learning some of the html tags, you can have fun manipulating the images and text.)

http://www.swish-db.com --- for SWF (Shock Wave Flash) – You will need a software for this.

(This site has enabled for it’s users to upload and download their own flash files to view and share.)

Search Engines will give you many more, so have fun.

 Rain

Finally, it’s raining. I took a walk in the rain. Rain slicked pavement glistens beneath the yellow street lamps.
Like a leaf that sprouts, from the pregnant new branch, all of my senses are awakened.
I can hear what it is whispering, feel the gentle caresses. How cool and exhilarating!
Night has fallen, but it isn’t dark. Not to me, not for me.

 Eye Exam

This is one cool cat, I think.  But his friends may not feel the same.

 Morning

Morning

            - Sara Teasdale -

I went out on an April morning
All alone, for my heart was high,
I was a child of the shining meadow,
I was a sister of the sky.

There in the windy flood of morning
Longing lifted its weight from me,
Lost as a sob in the midst of cheering,
Swept as a sea-bird out to sea.

Here's another favorite of mine, Sara Teasdale.  I used to be able to recite many of her poems, word for word... aye, those were the days.
